I’d love to read some Wordsworth,
\nAnd of Coleridge, pages not a few.
\nWith subtle inference and tone,
\nWhere spirits soar, in unseen azure sky.
\nWhile I sit here, with sore clipped wing,
\nSeeing only line by line, upon the page,
\nNever knowing, what’s between.<\/p>\n
So I thought I’d try some Shakespeare,
\nThey say, we all should try the ‘bard’.
\nA rollicking ballad, with blood tipped sword,
\nSwept along, at break neck speed.
\nBut, unsure of word, or thought thus spake,
\nThis mangle of muddy medieval metaphor,
\nHas surely got me beat.<\/p>\n
Now bloodied, but unbowed,
\nMy poetic quest resumed.
\nThere must be time, or genre, just for me.
\nOne, through who’s words, earth’s beauty, I can see.
\nThrough book shops all, and vaulted libraries tall, I sought,
\nThen, on that fateful day, the magic words, flew fast and loose,
\nAt last, I’m one, with timeless, Dr. Zeus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
